Privacy Policy

Aenos Food Services Inc. ("Aenos", "we", "us") is a family-owned wholesale food distributor at 2455 Kaladar Avenue, Ottawa, Ontario K1V 8B9. This policy explains, in plain terms, what this website does and does not do with your personal information. It is written to reflect how the site actually works, and we keep it accurate as the site changes.
What we collect
The only personal information this website collects is what you type into our account request form, which appears on our Open an Account page and our Contact page. That form asks for your name, phone number, email address, the name of your business or restaurant, the product lines you are interested in, and anything you choose to write in the specialty items box.
We do not have customer logins on this website, we do not process payments here, and we do not ask for financial information. Nothing is collected from you simply by reading these pages.
Why we collect it, and what we do with it
We use what you send us for one purpose: to understand what your kitchen buys so we can quote pricing and set up a wholesale account. A member of our sales team reads it and contacts you. We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Where it goes
Form submissions are processed by Netlify, the company that hosts this website, and are then emailed to our sales team at Sales@AenosFoods.com. Netlify stores a copy on its servers, which may be located outside Canada, and processes it on our instructions. Once we have your request, it is handled within our own business systems like any other customer enquiry.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies. It carries no analytics, no advertising pixels and no social media tracking, so there is nothing here that follows you between sites and nothing you need to consent to. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Our typefaces are served by Google Fonts, which means your browser requests those font files from Google and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. Links to our Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and to the Apple App Store and Google Play are ordinary links — nothing loads from those services until you choose to follow one, and once you do, that service's own privacy policy applies.
How long we keep it
We keep account requests for as long as we need them to respond to you and to maintain our customer records, and no longer than our ordinary business and tax record-keeping requires.
Your rights
Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) you may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent to our using it. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us. This site is served only over an encrypted HTTPS connection, so what you submit is encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will tell you when it last changed.
